Free Tickets for Private Screening of the Hawaii Premiere of “Donor”
HONOLULU – L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is proudly sponsoring the Hawaii International Film Festival’s (HIFF) “Spotlight on the Philippines.” L&L will be holding a private screening of “Donor” on October 16, 2010 at Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 Theatres at 1:00 p.m. L&L is giving vouchers for free tickets to the private screening. Vouchers can be redeemed at the Regal Dole Cannery Stadium on the day of the screening at 11:00 a.m. Due to the limited number of seats available, tickets are given on a first-come, first served basis.
Mark Meily’s “Donor” was named Best Film in the Directors Showcase of Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival and Competition in the Philippines. In addition to the Best Film award, it won Best Performance of an actor (Ben Geisler), Best Performance of an Actress (Meryll Soriano), Best Performance of a Supporting Actress (Karla Pambid), and Best Production Design.
